Social distancing was keeping me out of your houses, but during May I did a special project in my local area. My challenge was to cycle in my local area to do 26 doorstep portraits, raising money for the Twins Trust.
Families say hello from the doorstep or window, and I’ll make a record of the lockdown family memories, taking just 10 minutes. All social distancing rules were observed, leading to me turning upon my bike and shouting at everyone down the drive!
I ended up photographing 30 families, including my own, which included 9 sets of twins. I cycled about 60 miles over 3 weeks, covering houeses in Ruislip, Pinner, Uxbridge, Harrow, Wembley and Ealing!

As we all keep away from each other and avoid close contact, you will still see people yelling across the road to each other and electronic communication has gone through the roof in our house. Humans need to communicate, it’s part of our make up. This is my communication of our current status!
