When we are shooting at home I don’t just photograph the pretty moments of perfect artistry. I include the in between moments too. Juggling to hold 2 babies. The silly faces. Rolling over when they mean to crawl. The toddler hiding when I arrive. The whole story.

Just because your photo session is at home doesn’t mean we can’t take timeless baby portraits. I always spend time taking some pictures of baby alone with no distractions for portraits where you can just drink in those soft round cheeks and tiny lips.
Soft neutral blankets provide a perfect backdrop, or your favourite colours and fabrics can add a pop of excitement!

When you are adding to your family your new baby isn’t the only important little person. While older siblings might be thrilled to have a new playmate (eventually!), we know it’s not always fun sharing the spotlight with a tiny, fragile newcomer.
In an at home photoshoot we have time for them to star in some of their own photos, as well as cuddles with parents and baby. And even better when they are done with the camera they can go back to their favourite toys, TV show or snack time, no waiting around.
Your home is the BEST place to take your newborn photos and keep things fun, relaxed, and full of love for your bigger babies too!
