WELCOME
When you reserve a photography session with me, a session fee is required to secure your chosen date.
After the session, I will create an online viewing gallery for you, where you can view your photos in the comfort of home and decide on your preferred image package. This way, you have the freedom to choose the number of images and keep those that you really love.

The session fee covers the arrangement and preparation for the shoot, ensuring everything is set for a successful and fun photo session.
The images are not included in the session fee. This approach allows you to have a stress-free experience in selecting the images you love the most after viewing them.

I was very happy to be asked to contribute photos to this book published last week - the definitive book about caving in OFD, created and written by Peter Collings-Wells and filled with pictures from current and past cave photographers.
I`ll show you the best page first - two little twins and Ash in the OFD II entrance series. The rest of the book is great too! It covers the whole 30 miles length of OFD - I`ve probably been to maybe half the places photographed in the book in my 20 years of visiting the cave. It`s a great read for anyone who caves in OFD, or who would like to see all the pretty bits of cave without venturing into getting muddy themselves!

Bluebells in Bloom (Again!) Yes I know I`ve been talking about them for a while! But even though the bluebells came extra early this year they are still making a magical sight in nearby woods. I did some early mini-sessions 2 weeks ago, but they are just holding on for this weekend`s adventures too.
(I have one early afternoon mini-session left on Saturday 3rd for one last minute booking - message me if you`re interested).
These gorgeous native flowers are protected as they are easily damaged. So how do I get these photos then? The family is sat on a blanket (no wet bums) on the path between two areas of bluebells, I`m on the next path getting a nice low angle to show off the flowers - and hide the path!

We had a bit of a nature adventure in our garden yesterday! We had a visit from a swarm of about 10,000 friendly honey bees. After they had buzzed around and checked out our front garden they all landed in a big ball of bee on our garden wall. I was rather worried that they might want to setup home inside the hollow brick pillar of the wall, so I called Pinner & Ruislip Beekeepers` Association who were here in a flash keen to adopt the whole 10,000 bees. They were all carefully swept into a special bee box and transported to a luxury new hive over in Denham. Thank you Pinner & Ruislip Beekeepers` Association and enjoy your bees!

And finally - my very favourite campsite for family adventures! Hollands Wood – Camping in the Heart of the New Forest
If you’re after a real forest camping experience, Hollands Wood is the perfect spot. Tucked among the trees in the New Forest, this campsite feels like a proper outdoor adventure, while still being close to plenty of attractions.
CAMPSITE
Set right in the forest—just pick a spot under the trees for some shade (or shelter from the rain!).
Charcoal BBQs are allowed (as long as they’re off the ground), but no wood fires.
Surrounded by woodland and walking trails—perfect for exploring.
Wild ponies wander through regularly! Super cute, but keep your food secured.
FACILITIES
A small office selling ice lollies and renting out freezer blocks.
Three toilet blocks with showers.
Dog-friendly, so your pup is welcome!
NEARBY ATTRACTIONS
A wide shallow river with pebbly beach just 5 minutes walk away—perfect for paddling.
Brockenhurst town is a 20-minute walk (or 5 minutes by car) with supermarkets, ice cream shops, and tourist spots.
Ornamental Drive—a beautiful scenic route through the forest.
Reptile Centre—see native reptiles up close.
Wildlife & children’s farm—great for kids!
If you love forest vibes, ponies, and easy access to nature, this is the place to be!
And finally - my very favourite campsite for family adventures! Hollands Wood – Camping in the Heart of the New Forest

I`d like to share with you my top 3 of the best campsites for kids, so they get the camping bug too!
Camping is a great way to make the accommodation part of the adventures, see new places, let the kids roam around in nature, and holiday with friends. And once you’ve got the kit, it’s cheap too.
Number 3 is.. WoWo in Sussex
This one makes the top 3 best campsites for kids because of the huge fire pits, and the potential for exploring!
CAMPING
The campsite has 5 interconnected fields separated by strips of woods and streams, which are great for the kids to explore.
Rope swings adorn the trees and the rivers are made for paddling.
Every pitch has its own open fire pits with benches, and logs are available from the log truck or camp shop.
FACILITIES
A variety of food vans visit daily if you don’t want to cook, and a small shop offers essentials and snacks.
The campers barn has chilling sofas, fridges and freezers to cool freezer blocks, and a laundry room.
Hot showers and lots of small toilet blocks scattered around.
Dog friendly
Glamping options are also available – check out their yurts, bell tents, shepherds huts and geodomes.

How to not squash the bluebells - and still get gorgeous photos?
Bluebells are many but they are tiny, low down, and delicate. So how do we get close to them to get great family pictures while not destroying the beauty we came to admire?
Bluebells are so delicate that wherever people have walked you will see paths through the bluebells, and if people continue to walk on them they will die and never come back. So we need to stick to the paths that already exist, standing only where we can see bare earth and a clear path.
It’s all about the angle to emphasise what we want to see! Shooting low, through the bluebells, from a distance with a longer lens, hides the mud and shows the beauty!
