Are you deep in the whirlwind of life with twins—or more? Double the love, double the cuddles… and yes, double the work!

As a twin mum myself, I know firsthand how fast those early years fly by. I’m so thankful for the photos I have from those chaotic, beautiful toddler days.

So - we want to get a picture of both twins, at the same time, in the same place, looking happy...

No it's not easy! But here are some tips on how to harness the twin chaos for vibrant photos.

My take on photography is to reveal the beauty in the everyday. Sure, you want your family to look their best - but that no longer means Victorian standards of photography with starched collars and forced smiles. Instead we create our best moments with exploration, relaxation and noticing our lives.

So go on an adventure, take a picnic, explore and relax. Then add a few of these activities in to your day to catch on camera.

1) Jump Challenge

Set up a jump challenge, or dancing or wiggling, whatever will get them giggling and distracted from the camera. This is a good warm up to get rid of fake smiles!

2) Bubble battle

One to blow, one to chase. Or let them both go wild with bubble guns!

Parents can blow for the little ones, or bubble guns are a good less mess way to give the twins their own bubbles.

3) Climbing

Get their feet off the floor and there is less potential for running away!

4) Games for two

Twins always have a playmate they say! Well try using that to your advantage by getting them to entertain each other while you are busy with the camera.

5) Cuddle

It might work... or it might turn into a wrestling match!

Either way, you’ll capture their real relationship.
