Adventuring in nature is my passion
I'm a mum of twins and outdoor adventurer, and addicted to making photographs! I'm the one at the back of the group on the hike, caving trip or scuba dive, stopping again to admire a tiny bug or a majestic view.
Whether it's the intricate details of insects, the hidden depths of underground caves, the awe-inspiring depths beneath the waves or the antics of my kids, I photograph everything that catches my eye!
But home is where my heart is
Once upon a time, I was in IT and spent my weekends photographing flowers and butterflies. But when I had twins, everything changed! Watching my little ones grow at lightning speed, I knew I wanted to help other families freeze those blink-and-you-miss-it moments.
Back in 2012, I took the leap and turned my passion into a thriving photography business.
Now, from my cozy corner in Ruislip, West London, I’m ready to come to you—whether it’s for a laid-back session at home or a playful adventure in your favorite park. My mission? To capture the joy, quirks, and love that make your family one-of-a-kind. Let’s create memories that will make you smile for years to come!

What to expect with me?
Have you had your photos taken by a professional photographer before? Don't worry, it's not as scary as it sounds!
Family photo sesssions capture genuine and beautiful moments with your family, in a fun and relaxed experience. Don't wait too long to preserve these precious times - children grow up quickly, and now is the perfect time to capture your family's unique story.
I come to you. You can choose to have pictures cosy at home, in your favourite local park, exploring the buzz of the city, in a vast majestic landscape, or surprise me with something new to explore!
You can check out my on-line calendar to choose a date. One hour is usually plenty of time for a family session with a wide variety of photos. We can plan a two hour session if needed, for example for newborns, parties, or for far locations.

The garden you walk past every day suddenly becomes the place where you stand together, staring down at this tiny new person who has just arrived.
Outdoor newborn photographs hold something special.
Fresh air, blossom on the trees, sunlight through the branches, and parents still in that moment of wondering how this little baby is now part of their world.
No complicated set ups. Just a family, a new baby, and the beginning of a whole new chapter.
Just born.
Just blooming.
Just getting started.

This is why I love photographing families outdoors. Children move, explore and show their personalities when they have space around them. A walk through the spring flowers often turns into the most natural moments - curious little hands reaching for petals, big smiles, and parents watching it all unfold.
These are the stages that pass so quickly, and photographs help hold onto them.

Spring has properly arrived so this week I went to visit one of my favourite places - Kew Gardens.
The camellias are blooming, plum blossom is opening on the trees, and the first daffodils are bright across the grass. After months of bare branches and grey skies, it suddenly feels like everything is waking up again.

Spring gives you movement, colour, and a sense of the season your family is living in right now.
And years from now, when the children are bigger, those photographs will still hold a piece of this stage of life. Blossom overhead, daffodils at their feet, and everyone together in the middle of it.

A wildlife rescuer who sometimes spends time cleaning pigeon poo while helping out at a local wildlife hospital.
A scuba diver who enjoys pretending to be a fish.
A scientist at heart. I studied microbiology and computer science before photography.
And despite living in London for 25 years… I’m still a northerner.

Let me show you the type of images I love to take with my families at spring mini sessions.
It’s all about celebrating the stage your family is at now, so the images and the experience will be a little different for each age family. Bigger kids we will cover more ground and maybe spend more time warming them up - smaller kids it may be all about trying to keep them still for 3 seconds!
But there is a set of photos that we will get for each family
3) Action shots together. After all this is how real life looks - always moving and finding stuff to do. Laughing together and playing with siblings. It seems so commonplace now, but soon you will smile to look back at how they were little!
2) Close ups of each kid. I’ll zoom in on those cute eyes, and encourage them to strike a post on a log for their own indivdual spotlights.

Sometimes it’s getting everyone to sit down, sometimes it’s more a quick ‘scoop the kids up and look this way’ shot. We’ll do this at a few stunning spots so you have a variety to choose from.

Tears from grandma!
We have had no shortage of positive feedback from friends and family alike (plus a few tears from grandma). Out only problem was choosing which photos not to use - I promise you the choice will be hard!
