I'm a mum of twins and outdoor adventurer, and addicted to making photographs! I'm the one at the back of the group on the hike, caving trip or scuba dive, stopping again to admire a tiny bug or a majestic view.
Whether it's the intricate details of insects, the hidden depths of underground caves, the awe-inspiring depths beneath the waves or the antics of my kids, I photograph everything that catches my eye!

Once upon a time, I was in IT and spent my weekends photographing flowers and butterflies. But when I had twins, everything changed! Watching my little ones grow at lightning speed, I knew I wanted to help other families freeze those blink-and-you-miss-it moments.
Back in 2012, I took the leap and turned my passion into a thriving photography business.
Now, from my cozy corner in Ruislip, West London, I’m ready to come to you—whether it’s for a laid-back session at home or a playful adventure in your favorite park. My mission? To capture the joy, quirks, and love that make your family one-of-a-kind. Let’s create memories that will make you smile for years to come!

fluffy guinea pigs
long walks going nowhere in particular
scuba diving adventures
velvety latte
bitter chocolate
uninterrupted nature
wildflowers in every colour
sci-fi books (and Terry Pratchett)
running that magically makes me fit
sketching, painting and zentangle
laughing with twins
and, obviously,
more cameras to take more photos!
Have you had your photos taken by a professional photographer before? Don't worry, it's not as scary as it sounds!
Family photo sesssions capture genuine and beautiful moments with your family, in a fun and relaxed experience. Don't wait too long to preserve these precious times - children grow up quickly, and now is the perfect time to capture your family's unique story.
I come to you. You can choose to have pictures cosy at home, in your favourite local park, exploring the buzz of the city, in a vast majestic landscape, or surprise me with something new to explore!
You can check out my on-line calendar to choose a date. One hour is usually plenty of time for a family session with a wide variety of photos. We can plan a two hour session if needed, for example for newborns, parties, or for far locations.

Have you ever seen so many snowdrops that they actually look like snow?
Yesterday we visited @welfordpark for its special snowdrop days, and that’s exactly what we found. As we approached large patches of snowdrops lined the paths, but then when we managed to find the snowdrop woods we were flabbergasted!
Thousands upon thousands, probably millions, of delicate white blooms stretched as far as the eye could see through the trees. As a family nature photographer, I’d recommend this as an amazing location to take a trip to from west London.
PS try the tea tent too - cake and sausage rolls available. This is where the Great British Bakeoff has been filmed!

Those early days pass quickly. New parents with new experiences, holding a baby who seems to change almost daily. It is a stage that feels so long but is over so soon!
All of my baby photo sessions take place at home. Being in your own space allows everything to slow down, with no need to travel, no unfamiliar surroundings, and plenty of time to settle, feed, and pause when needed. It creates images that feel real and rooted in your family life.
I am a natural family photographer based in Ruislip, West London, photographing families in a relaxed, unhurried way that focuses on connection rather than perfection.
If you are in this season and would like it documented quietly, you are very welcome to comment or message me to talk about booking your family shoot.

We sadly lost one of our guinea pig herd at the end of last year. Sprinkle was one of our two first `lockdown` guinea pigs, and part of our family for five cute and fluffy years.
These images remind me why I photograph pets in the same way I photograph families. The way they are held, cared for, spoken to, and loved. Sprinkle was never just a pet in the background. She was present in the heart of the home and is deeply missed.
My approach to pet photography is gentle and people focused, because the relationship matters more than the portrait. As a natural family pet photographer based in Ruislip, West London, I photograph pets at home or out and about, wherever they feel safest and most themselves.
If you have a pet whose presence feels important to remember, you are welcome to comment or message me to talk about booking a relaxed pet photography session.

It feels like the right moment to start looking for snowdrops. Have you seen any yet this winter? Comment and let me know where please!
Places I usually look are the winter gardens and woodland paths at Clivenden and Waddesdon Manor national trust gardens. The historic Stowe Gardens have long been celebrated with #stowedrops on Instagram as drifts appear through Elysian Fields and Lamport Garden. Closer to home in Surrey and south London, RHS Garden Wisley and Kew Gardens both shelter early snowdrop displays around their woodland areas and rock gardens.
These walks and gardens are the kind of places that naturally invite exploration and fun family time Just what I look for in outdoor sessions when I am photographing families in spring light.

A lot of parents noticed something over Christmas.
How quickly this stage is moving, how different their children already feel compared to last year. These images are about holding onto that real, everyday connection before it shifts again.
I am a natural family photographer based in Ruislip, West London, and my work is centred on honest family photography that reflects real life as it is. No forced smiles, no perfect moments, just the way you are together right now, whether that is quiet, playful, chaotic, or somewhere in between.
If you want family photos that feel natural and familiar, rather than posed, you are in the right place. If you are thinking about booking a family photoshoot in Ruislip or West London, feel free to comment or message me and we can talk about what would suit your family best.

This is what spring often looks like during my family photoshoots. Children climbing, balancing, testing their independence, with space to move rather than being asked to stand still. These moments matter just as much as the quiet ones.
Spring mini sessions are designed to be simple and child led, held in woodland locations where there is room to explore and play. I photograph gently, following what unfolds rather than directing it.

Even if we have to wrap up in the biggest puffer jackets, outdoor fun is still available in my winter woodland photo sessions.
This is what I look for during my sessions - the in between moments that tell the real story of your family. The way a child settles into a parent’s arms, the calm confidence of being held, the connection that needs no direction.
A father holding his child close, wrapped up in warmth, trust, and familiarity. No posing, no pressure, just the comfort of being exactly where you belong.

It is never just a cat. Mito’s story is woven into this image, held close, safe, and clearly part of the family. Rescued as a stray when she was pregnant, she went on to raise her kittens and was then adopted with her daughter. They now live happily with their new family, learning to trust people and accept cuddles!

I`m packing away the Christmas decorations today, I keep thinking about moments like this. A newborn held close, gentle lights in the background, the calm of a first Christmas at home.
These early days are often a blur, especially around the festive season. The tree, the lights, the tiny details all fade, but the feeling of holding your baby close stays. That is what I aim to preserve through natural, unhurried family photography.
As a natural family photographer based in Ruislip, West London, I photograph newborns and families in a calm, gentle way, creating images that feel true to this season of life.
If you are expecting or have recently welcomed a baby and would like these early moments captured, you are very welcome to comment or send me a message to talk about booking your shoot.

Another bright sunny COLD picture! Have you been down to Ruislip Lido this week? It’s frozen up. But don’t try and walk on it unless you are a duck!

Tears from grandma!
We have had no shortage of positive feedback from friends and family alike (plus a few tears from grandma). Out only problem was choosing which photos not to use - I promise you the choice will be hard!
Cat, (new mum, Ruislip)

Personalities were captured!
Our photo shoot with Jenny was fantastic, a really relaxing and enjoyable trip to the park, from which we have some beautiful photos. She was great with our children and the informal nature of the shoot made sure that their personalities were captured in the pics
Helen (mum of two, London)

Made us feel very comfortable despite being camera shy
Jenny did a family photoshoot for us last year, and we loved her work so much that we asked her to do a photoshoot for us again to celebrate our twins turning two.
Jenny gave us some lovely pictures, and made us feel very comfortable despite the fact that both my husband and I are notoriously camera shy. We shared the pictures with our friends and family, and everyone was full of praise!
Thanks so much Jenny!
Sundus (mum of twins, Ealing)

You captured so many expressions!
Thank you for a beautiful range of photos! You captured so many changing expressions and the reality of being a 3 month baby, that we don't get to see in the thick of it.
Sejal (mum of 2, Harrow)

We absolutely treasure them
Jenny has done three portrait sessions with our family. She takes really fantastic photos - we absolutely treasure them. She’s also a lovely person to work with. Highly recommended.
Lucy (London)
