I couldn`t resist opening a couple of slots for extra sun photo shoots this week! Well you may have noticed the blazing sun in the sky!
Perfect time to consider an evening shoot at sunset, or an afternoon shoot with a water fight. To take place morning or early evening to capture the gorgeous light and sun but missing the midday heat. I can suggest locations within Ruislip or I`ll come to visit you!

Why is April is the easiest month for family photos?
April has the most vibrant nature - the bright green leaves are coming through, the bluebells and 100 other flowers are out, and the sun is shining - making being outside irresistible!
The light is soft - the sun still low enough for flattering light.
The weather is warming, and not too hot or too cold - everyone is comfortable. Even those like me who hate the heat can bask in the sun in April!!
It makes it much easier to keep things relaxed and natural.

I did my first outdoor nature family photoshoot in the bluebell woods near Ruislip this weekend and the bluebells are just perfect - though I`m pretty sure the toddler didn`t care about bluebells, just STICKS!
The rest of the woods is feeling fresh and green also as the leaves are coming out but still letting the sun shine through when it feels like it.

Easter Sunday we set off up Mam Tor in the sun, were nearly being blown off the top by the gale force winds and then were hailed on on the way down! Luckily it was summer again by the time we stopped for a picnic. A bracing walk, where we saved time by experiencing all the seasons in one day!
