Cat food photography does not have to be all bowls, tins and carefully arranged ingredients. The most engaging images show what happens around the food – the relationship between cats and their people, the routines of everyday life and, of course, the characters of the cats themselves.
For this lifestyle photography project, the aim was to create a collection of natural, story-led images that showed the food as part of real life. From relaxed moments at home and playful interactions to the all-important mealtime, each photograph captures the personality of the cat while keeping the product naturally at the heart of the story.
The result is a collection of warm, authentic images that feel less like traditional product photography and more like a glimpse into life with a much-loved cat.
