The Tree: Light and water timelapse at Ruislip Lido

I think my tree of the year project is almost done! Which is good but also sad as I need to find a new favourite tree! I’ve been using this photo project to drag myself out of the house and round Ruislip Lido, as apparently my brain is much more motivated by being allowed to take a photo than by making myself fitter, healthier and exercised!

There are now more than 40 slices of time in my tree timelapse, I’ve been round the lido about once a week.

This willow tree standing all alone against a backdrop of the water fascinated me, and then the winter rain filled up the lido and it spent all winter as a little tree island. Sometimes I take pictures at different times, eg sunset, but even in the day time the combination of clouds, birds and seasons mean every picture is unique.
